Heart of Rwanda
Milk chocolate, nutty, sweet. Grown at 1,400–1,900 masl across 40 washing stations in Rwanda. A fully washed mix of Bourbon and Typica, sorted by hand at the Rwanda Trading Company in Kigali.
Recommended for refreshing filter brews and complex, sweet espressos.
Backstory
In the hills of Nyamasheke, Jean-Baptiste Nshimiyimana walks the narrow paths between his coffee trees. His wife Claudine manages the drying beds while their children learn the rhythms of the harvest. Together with their cooperative, they produce washed coffees that reflect clarity, care, and community. Each cup supports their future and honors the land they share.
